Refine Suno tracks. Studio audio quality.
Suno and Udio outputs sound compressed even when you export as WAV — the lo-fi is in the generated audio itself, not the file format. The Refiner upgrades the actual audio fidelity, restoring high-frequency detail and clarity — then Finalize, our one-click mastering stage, brings it to release loudness. Drop a file, get back a release-ready WAV at 44.1 kHz, or 48 kHz on Pro and Studio.

Hear the difference
One track, the same 1:00–1:30 passage. Compare Enhanced restoration, a complete master, and a rebalanced mix with vocal reverb. Headphones recommended.
Hold You — Enhanced only
FastHear what Enhanced alone does to Hold You. This excerpt was processed with AI cleanup, Humanizer, Rebalance, and Finalize all switched off.
Before · original Suno upload · 48 kHz lossless
Hold You — full-chain result
Real resultHold You, processed with Enhanced, AI-artifact cleanup, Humanizer, and Finalize using the Folk tonal reference. Both sides use the same 1:00–1:30 passage.
Before · original Suno upload · 48 kHz lossless
Hold You — Rebalance + vocal reverb
Real resultThe same track and passage, with the vocal level adjusted and a touch of Classic Vocal Plate reverb. Humanizer follows the new mix, then Finalize completes the master with the Folk reference.
Before · original Suno upload · 48 kHz lossless
The first player isolates Enhanced restoration on this excerpt; the other two are excerpts from separate full-track runs of Hold You. Switch between Before and After while a player runs. Every pair stays on the same passage. Both sides play at their exported levels, so loudness differences are part of the comparison.
How it works
Drop your track
mp3, wav, or flac, up to 8 minutes. Stereo or mono.
Pick a refinement
Choose Enhanced, our recommended default. Flow Matching remains visible but is temporarily unavailable while we review output quality.
Get a clean WAV back
44.1 kHz, or 48 kHz on Pro and Studio, ready to upload. Flip on Finalize (Hobby+) and it comes back mastered — glued, polished, at release loudness. We keep your file for 7 days, then delete it.
Built for AI-generated music, end to end
AI tracks have a specific shape of damage: high-frequency rolloff, compression haze, and the spectral fingerprint the neural decoder bakes in. Generic audio restorers were not built for this. We were.
Rebalance cleaned stems before the final mix
With AI cleanup selected, The Refiner can pause before it rebuilds the mix. Preview vocals, drums, bass, and other together, then set their relative levels with independent faders.
Set the balance
Bring a stem forward or tuck it back while auditioning the whole cleaned mix. Positive gains are managed for output headroom.
Shape vocal reverb
Add curated convolution reverb to the vocal only. Low cut removes lows from the wet return; High cut softens its top end. The dry vocal stays unchanged.
Render and continue
Render final mix applies your choices and resumes the job. If you selected Humanizer, it processes the new mix next. Finalize, when selected, runs last.
Not stem separation: Rebalance works inside one refinement and does not create downloadable stem files. It is included on Pro and Studio with no extra credit beyond the processing you selected.
Temporary working stems and audition previews stay private and are deleted after final rendering. Source and finished files follow the normal 7-day retention period.
How Rebalance works →Master a full album as one release
Stop mastering songs in isolation and hoping they sit together. Give the whole release one sonic profile, then let The Refiner level-match the completed masters by perception — not just by meter.
Set one release profile
Choose the refinement, AI cleanup, Humanizer, mastering character, loudness target, and output format once.
Drop tracks in order
Add MP3, WAV, or FLAC files in the final sequence. Every track runs through the same locked processing chain.
Balance the complete album
After every master is ready, a true-peak-safe perceptual pass matches the finished sequence as one release.
Download one ZIP
Get the level-matched masters in album order, bundled and ready for delivery. Individual masters stay preserved.
Safe to leave and come back. Once every file has finished uploading and its job has started, processing continues in the backend. The final album-balance pass is included after the tracks are mastered.
2 tracks minimum to balance · 100 maximum · no extra credit for the final balance pass
Split any track into stems
Isolated vocals, drums, bass, and everything else — or speech vs. background for spoken-word audio. Drop a track and pick an engine; get back one WAV per stem plus a ZIP for one-click download.
Demucs
Vocals, drums, bass, and everything else. Quick and solid for everyday remixing or DAW work.
Melband
Mel-Band RoFormer — a newer transformer that pulls stems apart with less bleed. Takes longer in exchange for cleaner isolation.
Voice Cleanup
Speech on one stem, everything else on the other. Built for podcasts, interviews, and voice notes.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers. Full guide on the help page.
- What is The Refiner?
- The Refiner is a web app that cleans up and upgrades audio tracks. It works on anything — AI-generated music from Suno or Udio, demos, podcast recordings, old mp3s, live captures — drop in a lossy or low-fidelity file and get back a release-ready WAV with restored high-frequency detail, better clarity, and a more polished sound. An optional Finalize stage masters the result to release loudness, so it can sit next to streamed music.
- What's the difference between Enhanced and Flow Matching?
- Both use trained audio models, not just filters. Enhanced uses GPU-powered neural restoration to synthesize high-frequency detail and is our recommended default. Flow Matching uses compute-intensive, iterative reconstruction, with Normal and High processing depths. Both generate plausible detail rather than recover an original master, so texture and timbre can change; more compute does not guarantee a better result. Flow Matching is temporarily unavailable while we review output quality, so use Enhanced for new refinements.
- Can The Refiner master my track?
- Yes — Finalize is our automated mastering stage, available on Hobby, Pro, and Studio. Flip it on with Enhanced, or run it standalone on a track that's already mixed: corrective EQ, glue compression, valve-triode and transformer harmonic saturation, stereo polish with a mono-safe low end, and a true-peak limiter. The loudness target is selectable — −9 LUFS by default, with −7, −14, and −16 options — with harmonics from Off to Standard to Hot and optional reference matching: upload a track or pick a factory or saved preset. A free 10-second reference preview auditions the selected reference's tonal shape; with Reference Off it plays the original excerpt. It does not render the Strength, loudness, or Harmonics controls. Flow Matching integration is temporarily unavailable. The mastered version is the default download and the pre-master stays available as a second file. It won't replace a mastering engineer on a commercial release, but it lifts an AI export to a level that holds up next to streamed music.
- What audio formats can I upload?
- MP3, WAV, or FLAC. Tracks can be up to 8 minutes long. Current outputs are 44.1 or 48 kHz WAV at 24-bit. The Flow Matching-only 32-bit float option is temporarily unavailable with that preset.
- How long does a refinement take?
- Timing depends on track length, the stages you select, queue demand, and worker startup. Enhanced is the shortest path; AI artifact removal adds a cleaning stage that can take roughly the track's length, and Finalize adds a mastering stage. The recommended Enhanced + cleanup + Finalize workflow can take several minutes. Flow Matching is temporarily unavailable. You'll see live progress in the dashboard and can keep working while jobs run.
- Do I need a subscription?
- No. New verified accounts get 5 welcome credits and 30 days of Pro feature access, then the account uses its chosen plan. Free provides 2 credits each month for Enhanced. Hobby, Pro, and Studio add monthly credits and plan features. A one-time Credit Pack adds credits but does not change your plan or unlock features outside it.
- Can I split a track into stems?
- Yes — stem separation is a Pro feature. Drop a track on the Stems page and pick an engine: Demucs (fast 4-stem classic), Melband (newer transformer, cleaner separation), or Voice Cleanup (speech vs. background, great for podcasts and interviews). Output is one WAV per stem plus a ZIP of all of them. 3 credits per split. Free users get one lifetime trial split to try it.
- What is Rebalance stems?
- Rebalance is an optional Pro and Studio stage for Enhanced jobs with AI artifact removal. The job pauses before the final mix so you can audition the cleaned vocals, drums, bass, and other together, adjust their relative levels, and add curated convolution reverb to the vocal. Low cut removes lows from the wet reverb return; High cut softens its top end; the dry vocal is unchanged. Render final mix resumes processing. Humanizer, when selected, runs next; Finalize mastering, when selected, runs last. Rebalance adds no extra credit, does not create downloadable stem files, and deletes its private working stems and previews after final rendering.
- Can The Refiner detect AI-generated music?
- Yes — open Detect AI from the main navigation to check a track separately from refinement, free and without spending a credit. It detects both Suno and Udio and tells you which one, and reliably separates them from human recordings. Support for more generators is on the way. It's a guidance tool, not a verdict — a low score means no AI signals were detected, not proof of human authorship, and no detector is 100% accurate, so please don't use the scores to make accusations.
Is it AI? We'll tell you — free.
Drop in a Suno or Udio track and get an instant AI-likelihood score — which generator, and how confident. No credit spent.
